Established in April 2020 to support the rapidly growing needs for COVID-19 test kits across the country during the first stage of the pandemic.
Rapid Response
Under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), Apex Medical established a COVID-19 kit assembly business in months: securing a reliable supply chain, establishing Quality Management Systems, and employing a team to support the production of Nasopharyngeal (NP) Saline and Viral Transport Media (VTM) based kits for the Indianapolis area.
Expanding Nationwide
Partner laboratories faced with a similar challenge of testing patients nationwide at a rapid rate quickly learned about the availability of these valuable kits and within weeks a referral-based COVID-19 kit building business was established.
Quality Growth
With nearly 10MM kits built and shipped, Apex has continued expansion into a new 25,000 sq ft. facility equipped to deliver high quality, custom kitting and medical component supplies. Today customers rely on us for precise and accurate filling, flexible operations, and a commitment to on-time and on-forecast deliveries.
